Continuing Professional Education (CPE) platform Reducate becomes bigger after acquiring E-learning Made Easy

UTRECHT, December 1
st, 2022 – Reducate has acquired online CPE platform E-learning Made Easy (EME), making it the largest provider of CPE in elderly and disability care. The online platform sees a growing need for further training in this sector, due to the increasing aging of Europe.

The acquisition of E-learning Made Easy is the first expansion since the merger of E-WISE and Blueprint Learning in June this year. Reducate is already the largest provider of CPE courses for highly educated professionals in elderly care. EME has a strong position in the continuing education of care providers of level 1 to 4. “Together, the combined company will soon offer a range for the entire scope of elderly care”, says Hans van Veggel, CEO of Reducate.

Efficient CPE courses are important because of the aging population

Developments in healthcare are moving very fast, which means further training is essential. Van Veggel: “Another factor is the aging population increase in Europe, while the pressure on professionals in this sector is already enormous. We therefore want to make the limited time for compulsory education courses as efficient as possible, without losing sight of its quality.”

“Since its inception, EME has helped more than 25,000 professionals maintain their certification and update their knowledge. By working with Reducate, we can guarantee the quality of care in this sector on a larger scale”, says Hedwig Schlötjes Belle, founder of E-learning Made Easy.

Expanding is one of the keys to success

The acquisition of EME by Reducate fits the strategy of the training platform to maintain and strengthen the leading market position in Europe. Broadening the range is one of the keys to success, according to Van Veggel. “This acquisition fits seamlessly in our mission to offer knowledge to a very broad spectrum via our platform. Together we can provide a complete and high-quality offering, both within and outside the existing target groups.”
